Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing patient care by working with nursing staff to evaluate current practices, review alternatives, and provide staff education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the need for quality improvement programs and implement evidence-based solutions.
  • Plan and evaluate interventions to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Critically evaluate existing practice based on current research findings and integrate changes into practice.
  • Utilize the research process to improve patient care outcomes and enhance the environment of care.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model by participating in the resolution of ethical and clinical dilemmas.
  • Promote recruitment and retention by providing guidance, support, and professional development to staff and students.
  • Promote a learning environment that enables nursing and other healthcare personnel to make optimal contributions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Specialty certification related to a Clinical practice.
  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Nursing.
