Position Overview

Pilot Flying J is in search of a seasoned Retail General Manager to oversee our bustling retail facilities. This role entails the development and implementation of business strategies for travel centers and restaurants to meet established standards, sales targets, and customer satisfaction goals.

The Retail General Manager will also be responsible for:

Meeting and exceeding customer expectations Conducting regular meetings with team members Maintaining strong vendor relationships

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build, coach, manage, and develop teams through effective staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes.

Additional responsibilities include:

Driving sales growth Managing team performance Monitoring inventory levels Delivering exceptional customer service Conducting P&L analysis

Compensation for this position starts between: $38,000 - $55,000 annually.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Retail General Manager position will demonstrate integrity and accountability at the managerial level, along with exceptional leadership skills. A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Key qualifications include:

2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or other service sectors with a focus on financial results Proven management experience in high-volume retail with P&L accountability Ability to foster and maintain a customer-centric culture
