Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Remind patients to take their prescribed medication and assist with medication management.
  • Help patients with light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Prepare and serve meals to patients, as needed.
  • Accompany patients to appointments and outings, as needed.
  • Monitor patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients, as needed.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
