Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders, including speech, language, and hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer therapy treatments, including speech and language therapy, to patients with communication disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State.
  • ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a healthcare setting.
