Continuous Improvement Specialist

Lactalis US Yogurt is a leading manufacturer of dairy products, and we're seeking a talented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Team, you'll play a crucial role in driving process improvements and reducing costs.
About the RoleWe're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in engineering and lean manufacturing principles. Your primary responsibility will be to support our manufacturing teams in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on increasing raw material utilization, reducing defects, and enhancing overall throughput while minimizing environmental impacts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, operating efficiencies, and product quality.
- Apply expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Institute and improve lean methodologies across the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop, share, and execute best practices for all functional areas, utilizing data analytics to drive performance improvements.
- Perform business unit value stream mapping and provide in-depth analysis of machinery performance to determine process enhancements.
- Communicate the impact of continuous improvement goals and accomplishments throughout the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to balance conceptual thinking with practical, real-world solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
- Ability to operate in a team environment and adapt to changing work conditions.
