Role Summary

The Nutrition Services Coordinator plays a vital role in developing a nutritionally balanced and cost-effective food service program tailored to meet the dietary needs of students while adhering to all relevant local nutrition regulations. This position requires the application of technical expertise and compliance with government-mandated nutritional standards to create effective menu implementation strategies. Collaboration with Food & Beverage Development and management teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs menus in alignment with Aramark's standards.
  • Conducts regular visits to school dining facilities.
  • Assists in maintaining recipe development, menu production, and food service management protocols.
  • Performs nutrient analysis for all food items offered.
  • Educates clients and consumers on healthy eating choices through training sessions and community outreach initiatives.
  • Facilitates training for new employees.
  • Works alongside management and supervisors to ensure the delivery of high-quality food services.

Qualifications

  • Preferred prior experience in a relevant field.

  • Must obtain and maintain relevant certifications, registrations, licenses, and continuing education as required by local accrediting agencies.
  • Eligibility to practice dietetics in the applicable geographic area.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude towards clients and colleagues.
  • Capability to foster a positive work environment and inspire team members.
