Position Overview:
GovCIO is seeking a skilled Load Balancing Engineer to enhance the Customs and Border Patrol Enterprise Network Architecture and Engineering Support Services (CBP ENAESS). This role is primarily focused on optimizing the performance of enterprise applications and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) platforms to ensure optimal application performance.
- Develop and troubleshoot F5 iRules to enhance advanced routing and manage incoming traffic effectively.
- Implement and support application load balancing utilizing F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM products.
- Integrate identity access management solutions, including OKTA and Microsoft Active Directory, with cloud service providers.
- Deploy Multi-Factor Authentication standards across both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Conduct load-balanced application analysis and capacity planning to facilitate migration from legacy systems to modern environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent expertise.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in network architecture and/or engineering, with at least five years in the field.
- Expertise in load balancing technologies and application performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful completion of the CBP Background Investigation (BI).
