Family Resource Center Clinician

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Resource Center Clinician to join our team at Family Continuity. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide critical support to individuals, families, and support systems in need of mental health services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments that are trauma-informed and address risk factors, taking into account the systemic issues facing individuals and families.
  • Work closely with non-clinically trained staff and community resources to develop therapeutically indicated approaches to support individuals and families.
  • Provide clinical support to other FRC staff as needed, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Responsible for completing the modified CANS assessment and other identified supplemental behavioral needs assessments.
  • Assist individuals and families in gaining control over and insight into their behavior, promoting overall wellness and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience as a licensed clinician, with expertise in administering the CANS Assessment.
  • Current driver's license, proper auto insurance coverage, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the community.
  • Independent license: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
  • First Aid/CPR certification (if not currently certified).
  • Access to a personal cell phone.
  • Ability to work a flexible Monday-Friday daytime/afternoon schedule.
  • Spanish/Portuguese speaking, preferred.
