Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical assistance to both team members and clients, addressing issues promptly, performing root cause analysis, and executing various testing scenarios for comprehensive resolution.
  • Create and uphold operational documentation and specifications related to system configurations, disaster recovery plans, and standard operating procedures.
  • Possess a solid understanding of shared storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, and NFS.
  • Oversee the management and administration of multiple Cisco UCS Domains.
  • Plan, test, and implement patches through VUM and AutoDeploy to ensure version compliance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide insights to enhance architectural modifications.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues efficiently by offering workarounds and solutions in a timely manner.
  • Boost customer satisfaction by addressing all client concerns and ensuring visibility of issues to facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Enhance product supportability and serviceability by actively engaging in new design developments to provide feedback aimed at increasing the stability of VMware platforms for improved customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support as needed.
  • Engage in team meetings, share knowledge with colleagues, and contribute valuable input.
  • Exhibit a strong ability to quickly learn new technologies, manage time effectively, and maintain excellent documentation skills.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • 7+ years of extensive VMware experience with a strong focus on the installation, configuration, and management of the following technologies:
