We are currently seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in High-Voltage Substation design and a good command of the English language, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and contractors.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 8-10 years of experience in developing detailed high-voltage substation design deliverables, including single-lines, three-lines, protection and control schemes, cable and raceway drawings, ductbank drawings, etc.
  • Experience leading and having responsible charge of a substation design team
  • Power system analysis software (ETAP, EasyPower, SKM, or equivalent)
  • Preparation of studies and technical report writing experience
  • Technical specification development for related equipment and materials
  • Vendor drawing review for conformance to specifications
  • Ability to work remotely and in a team environment
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license with ability to obtain additional licenses in multiple states
  • Knowledge of compliance with relevant electrical and construction codes

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Additional experience designing Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems
  • Preparation of commissioning procedures and coordinating commissioning of equipment
  • Electrical and site safety training (e.g., OSHA 10-hour)
