Job Title: Night Custodian

The Night Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and security of our school buildings and grounds during non-operational hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nightly custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, entrances, kitchen, multi-purpose rooms, and restrooms; restock supplies.
  • Dispose of trash nightly and ensure a sanitary environment for students and staff.
  • Verify supply inventory and notify supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Monitor outside grounds and perform general clean up as needed.
  • Perform other custodial tasks and projects as requested.
Requirements:
  • General knowledge of floor maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Strong social interaction and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to shovel/remove snow with a snow blower.
  • Ability to use ladder.
  • Ability to use floor stripping/buffing machinery and vacuum cleaners.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, 3:30PM - 12AM.
Compensation:
  • $17.63-$22.36/hour based on experience.
