Custodian - Office & Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Peko Precision Products. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff members. This includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, production floors, breakrooms, offices, and other common areas. You will also be responsible for emptying trash receptacles, monitoring and cleaning safety stations, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities- Perform daily facility sanitation procedures by carrying out assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, production floors, breakrooms, offices, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste and cardboard.
- Monitor and clean safety stations throughout the facility.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, toiletries, and kitchenette supplies.
- Perform routine inspections of designated areas to ensure spaces are maintained according to sanitation standards.
- Adhere to company safety policies, cleaning requirements, and address concerns with management.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance in accordance with established company policies.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous cleaning/janitorial experience.
- Reliable transportation to go from one campus location to another as needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to hear speech and/or alarms through noise on the production floor.
- Standing, reaching with hands and arms, and using hands and fingers to manipulate instrument or equipment controls, objects, and tools.
- Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Movement from one work location to another.
- Standing often for extended periods of time.
- Safely lifting objects up to 30 lbs.
