Your Role

The Technical Communications team is tasked with the creation, upkeep, and governance of procedural documentation utilized by both front-line and back-office personnel.

The Senior Technical Writer will report directly to the Technical Communications Manager.

In this capacity, you will cultivate relationships with subject matter experts, gather insights from process owners, apply critical thinking to distill information, and disseminate content for internal use.

Your Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and execution of technical and operational communications that enhance front-line operational knowledge.
  • Oversee the creation and revision of technical documentation and knowledge assets, including policies and procedures.
  • Implement suitable development methodologies to guarantee that knowledge assets are pertinent, comprehensible, and easily accessible.
  • Verify the accuracy of knowledge assets by testing instructions through an audit process and collaborating with end users and experts.
  • Comprehend and utilize context-sensitive knowledge and metadata taxonomy governance to construct technical communication assets.
  • Participate in and lead meetings with stakeholders and experts from various departments.
  • Employ critical thinking to synthesize information from diverse sources.
  • Work independently while adhering to time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Publish and maintain content across various platforms such as Service Now, MS Word, Documentum, and SharePoint.
  • Engage in team-building activities.
Your Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Strong writing abilities are essential, including familiarity with style guide application and tailoring content to the intended audience.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management skills are crucial.
  • Robust analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
  • Experience with HTML is highly desirable.
  • Skills in meeting facilitation are preferred.
