Position Overview


Fairview Health Services is seeking a dedicated Clinic RN to provide exceptional care at our Specialty Clinic.

This role is part of a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment, ensuring that patients receive high-quality nursing services.

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance with no evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

This position is a full-time role (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two-week pay period) and is eligible for benefits.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (subject to adjustments based on clinic requirements).

Key Responsibilities


The registered nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

  • Planning, organizing, and delivering professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Providing care that is tailored to the diverse age groups served by the clinic while adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to support quality, patient-centered care.
  • Educating patients and their families about various health conditions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation for each patient.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance workflow.

This role will encompass both allergy and pulmonary specialties.

Essential Duties


The RN will:

  • Engage with patients and their support networks to gather comprehensive health data.
  • Establish age-appropriate and culturally sensitive outcomes that are realistic and achievable.
  • Deliver care in accordance with established nursing practices and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate nursing activities with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Continuously assess patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as necessary.
  • Prioritize tasks based on patient acuity, provider schedules, and available resources.
  • Perform clinical procedures, including medication administration, as defined by the clinical setting.
Qualifications


Required:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid RN License from the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
  • Previous experience as a registered nurse.

Preferred:

  • Experience in acute care settings.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Units (ICU).
