Drury University is seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our Facilities Services team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the university's landscape, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and removing debris. You will also be responsible for supporting the Facilities Services team by performing various tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the university's landscape, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and removing debris.
- Operate various equipment, including tractors, trucks, and lawn mowers.
- Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
- Assist with special events and projects as needed.
- Report progress and problems to the Assistant Director.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Ability to operate equipment, machinery, and trucks.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
