About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Psychiatric to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs in various settings. Your expertise will include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders, as well as education and support for patients, families, and communities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a psychiatric facility setting
  • Partner with individuals to achieve their recovery goals
  • Provide health promotion and maintenance
  • Conduct intake screening, evaluation, and triage
  • Provide case management
  • Teach self-care activities
  • Administer and monitor psychobiological treatment regimens
  • Practice crisis intervention and stabilization
  • Engage in psychiatric rehabilitation and intervention
  • Educate patients, families, and communities
  • Coordinate care within interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
  • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to/from appropriate individuals via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $43 per hour, based on industry standards and location. Benefits include competitive pay, weekly paychecks, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) savings plan, and awards and recognition programs.
