This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of pharmacy technicians, supervise cashiers, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve business objectives and improve pharmacy performance
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous people management/leadership experience
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
