Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Host/Greeter to join our team at Juke Joint. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring responsible beverage consumption for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of guests into the establishment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Verify the legitimacy of IDs and refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated.
  • Welcome guests in and thank them on their way out, providing a warm and personalized experience.
  • Communicate any issues that arise to management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor problematic guests and take steps to resolve any conflicts.
  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
  • Crowd control and traffic direction to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have or obtain the Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification through the Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused personality.
  • Ability to articulate greetings and farewells to guests, as well as understand requests for assistance.
  • Ability to clearly communicate guest concerns to management.
