- Develop and implement wellness programs to improve the health and work-life balance of employees.
- Provide education and guidance on health-related topics to employees.
- Clinical Services
- Provide nursing care and preventive health information to employees.
- Conduct pre-employment physicals and screenings.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as needed.
- Case Management
- Collaborate with employees, physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor employee progress and ensure timely return to work.
- Occupational Health Services
- Provide first aid and emergency care to employees.
- Conduct exposure follow-up and provide necessary counseling.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
- Ensure compliance with governmental and accreditation regulations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of employee health information.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience
- 3-4 years of nursing experience required.
- 1-2 years of occupational health experience preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications
- Valid RN license in the State of Maryland or DC required.
- COHN certification preferred.
- BLS and NRP certification required within 90 days.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good physical assessment skills and triage skills.
- Understanding of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
