About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team at McConnell Automotive Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in assisting our customers in selecting the perfect vehicle and building long-term relationships with them.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with customers and create a loyal customer base
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Learn general product knowledge of our vehicles and stay up-to-date on new products and features
  • Follow up with customers to make contact and set appointments for them to visit our dealership
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
  • Directly report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, and new campaigns each month
Requirements
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new products
  • Fantastic communication skills with customers in person, on the phone, and via email
  • Pleasant and engaging phone personality
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
  • Dealership experience welcome, but a teachable attitude is much more important
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
