Immediate Opening: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to identify potential theft through active floor surveillance and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with local law enforcement as necessary
- Provide testimony in court when required
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $19.00 per hour, with benefits including Health Insurance, 401k, and Paid Time Off
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods (3-4 hours)
- Reliable transportation is essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capable of producing clear and concise reports
- Must demonstrate assertiveness while managing confrontations
- Trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are crucial
- Previous experience in loss prevention is advantageous but not mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; studies in Criminal Justice or related fields are a plus
Training:
- Comprehensive paid training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
