Salary

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A full benefit package is also included.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead our Behavioral Health Department in providing high-quality services to individuals facing barriers such as justice-system impacted, intergenerational trauma, and poverty. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, recommend improvements, monitor program and staff performance, and provide direct services as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure department services effectively address participant, organization, and community needs.
  • Liaise with external entities, including the Department of Mental Health, Managed Care Plans, and school mental health leadership.
  • Sponsor best practices for diversity, equity, inclusion, restorative justice, and trauma-informed care within the organization.
  • Provide technical assistance and supervision to direct service staff, interns, and partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A License in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC), or Psychology (LP) from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • At least three years of professional experience in mental health, preferably as a Medi-Cal provider.
  • Strong knowledge of human development, cultural competence, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
