We are seeking a dynamic professional to fill the role of Workforce Partnerships and Community Engagement Specialist at Alliance for Community Empowerment. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to empowering individuals through education, job training, and employment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strategic partnerships with businesses to create employment and training opportunities for ACE participants. They will develop and sustain relationships with local, regional, and national businesses, identifying innovative solutions to support ACE's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Relationship Development: Build and maintain partnerships with businesses to secure employment and internship opportunities for ACE program participants.
  • Business Advisory Council Engagement: Recruit and engage business leaders to join ACE's Business Advisory Council, ensuring diverse representation from key industry sectors.
  • Workshops and Training Support: Offer work readiness workshops, including resume building, interview techniques, and industry-specific skill development.
  • Employment Exposure Initiatives: Organize and lead participant excursions to job fairs, work expos, and on-site business tours, facilitating experiential learning and networking opportunities.
  • Fundraising and Donor Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential business donors to support ACE's programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Workforce Development, Public Relations, or relevant field, with 3 years of experience in business development, employer engagement, and workforce development.
  • Spanish language skills, verbal and written preferred.
  • Possess a current California Driver's License, clean DMV record & adequate auto insurance.
  • Must submit to a Department of Justice Criminal background check.
Benefits and Salary

The anticipated pay range for this position is $69,805 to $73,935 annually, dependent on factors such as years of experience, education, and qualifications.
