We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Glen Cove Center For Nursing And Rehabilitation. As a leader in the field of nursing, you will be responsible for directing a team of nurses in sustaining the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our nursing department meets the highest standards of quality care and service, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Resident Care Coordination: Oversee the coordination of residents' health and wellness needs, including ancillary services and completion of assessments and individual service plans.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of clinical staff, including performance management, evaluation, and engagement.
Requirements:
- Passion for Working with Seniors: A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Current State License: Maintains a current state license as a Registered Nurse per state regulations.
- Nurse Management Experience: A minimum of three years of nurse management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Assessment and Medication Administration Skills: Outstanding assessment, medication administration, and follow-up skills.
- Time Management and Communication Skills: Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, organize efficiently, and manage time effectively, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $150,000 annually.
