POSITION SUMMARY

In this capacity, the Supervisor inspires, fosters accountability, and achieves outcomes that contribute to the success of the role while upholding our Culture of Excellence. This position offers comprehensive leadership, oversight, and guidance on strategic initiatives and operational standards to positively influence business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster a collaborative team atmosphere that delivers outstanding customer service while guiding the team and ensuring all personnel perform at a consistently high standard.
- Assist in the recruitment, retention, coaching, and discipline of staff; ensure the effective implementation of training programs.
- Develop weekly staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage to meet business needs and enhance the customer experience.
- Motivate and influence team members through effective leadership, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal productivity.
- Select and nurture staff and trainers for increased responsibilities or advancement within a leadership program.
- Ensure the execution of all employee recognition and incentive initiatives as directed.
- Assist with inventory management and expense control.
- Oversee all operational aspects, including entertainment, food and beverage services, attractions, and property inspections.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all guests and staff.
- Continuously enhance operational execution through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to Urban Air operational standards and philosophies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with potential distractions.
- Capability to move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred experience in hospitality (Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants).
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience required.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador and Culture Champion.
- Proven ability to develop team members in their areas of responsibility.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, energy, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Essential computer skills — Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Consistently display professional grooming and conduct to set an example for staff.
- Ability to engage enthusiastically with others.
- Exhibit adaptability, flexibility, and a general enthusiasm for the business.
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes or challenges.
- Ability to build working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors.
- Exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
- Must be available and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
