Primary Care Physician Assistant

Emory Health Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care team at our clinic in Decatur. Our Primary Care APPs focus on a true collaborative patient-provider partnership and make achieving patient health goals a top priority.
Responsibilities- Manage a patient panel and run independent clinic
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
- Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
- Document the delivery of care in the individual's medical records
- Minimum of 2 years of specific Primary Care experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
