Viterbo University is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Counselor Education. This is a tenure-track position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students and the field of counselor education.
Responsibilities- Teach core courses in counselor education, including graduate-level courses in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling.
- Provide dissertation support to doctoral students.
- Participate in department leadership and contribute to the development of our programs.
- Advise students and provide community service.
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. from a CACREP-accredited Counselor Education and Supervision program.
- Able to receive terminal licensure in the state of WI within one year of employment.
- Strong professional identity as a counselor educator.
- Competence in working with students from diverse populations and backgrounds.
- Five years of clinical experience in either school counseling or clinical mental health counseling.
- Experience providing clinical supervision.
- Interest in assisting with clinical coordination.
- Interest in securing and working with externally funded grants.
- Experience with CACREP accreditation.
- College teaching experience.
