What will your contributions entail?

  • Lead by example, showcasing integrity and leadership to team members, fostering an environment of fairness, open dialogue, and collaboration.
  • Apply process expertise and systematic experimental design to create product variations and new offerings tailored to customer requirements while achieving internal performance benchmarks.
  • Leverage process knowledge and structured improvement techniques to identify and enhance areas related to cost efficiency and product quality.
  • Track product performance indicators and ensure that process capabilities are consistently met during each production cycle.
  • Address and manage plant-related challenges concerning processes and products, ensuring thorough follow-up and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with production and technical teams, offering guidance and identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Deliver manufacturing specifications and technical support to plant Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Technical Service, Product Development, and Marketing to ensure seamless communication that drives successful development initiatives for clients.
  • Establish and nurture connections with suppliers and academic institutions to stay informed about the latest technologies, facilitate the exchange of research, and support continuous improvement efforts among vendors.

Are you the right fit for this role?
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering or a physical science is preferred, particularly in textile engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering. Extensive experience in textile production, product development, dyes and chemicals, and filament fiber production will also be considered.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment is required.
    • Preferred experience in textile production, color development, or knowledge of product specifications and development.
    • Previous management experience at any level is desirable.
    • Ability to interact effectively across departments and with all levels of management, customers, and suppliers.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 5%-10% between manufacturing locations.
