Job Summary

As a Contract Manager with LOCG LLC, you will oversee contracts that we are involved with, keeping an in-depth knowledge of contract features. The contract manager needs to understand the advantages and pitfalls of the contracts and be familiar with a plethora of contract details.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of contracts for various transactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections.
  • Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence.
  • Present contract information to relevant parties, such as stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract with subcontractors.
  • Keep track of contracts by issuing purchase orders for all related purchases on a particular contract, and extend, renew, or close them out.
  • Assist with the employer's compliance with mandatory standards.
  • Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations.
  • Minimize or eliminate risk factors related to the contractual relationship.
  • Source out supplies, reducing cost, and aligning with budgets.
  • Nurture positive long-term relationships with vendors and customers, send out sources sought proposals, and create business relationships with current clients.
  • Create schedules and budgets for contracts, mitigating all risk associate with failure to perform, negative past performance.
  • Create a contingency plan to avoid contract failures, to include staffing, supplies, and other factors that could result in negative performance.
  • Maintain a contract solicitation average of 60 per month.
Qualifications
  • Polite Professional Committed to building and maintaining strong and positive relationships.
  • Practices and internal policies of the companies they work for External regulations and laws.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration degree, if possible Master of Business Administration degree, if possible CCCM certification (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) awarded by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) CPCM certification (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) awarded by the NCMACFCM certification (Certified Federal Contracts Manager) from the NCMA Relevant work experience preparing and monitoring contracts.
