**Job Summary:**

Synerfac is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in preparing and completing journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and other ad hoc responsibilities necessary for the completion of the financial statements related to the activities of the accounting department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Create journal entries to reconcile intercompany activity and review and adjust recurring journal entries.
  • Prepare various monthly accrual entries and reconcile various balance sheet accounts.
  • Work with international companies to understand accounting practices and prepare and distribute month-end financial statements for confirmation of results.
  • Prepare and distribute intercompany balances to confirm balances and responsible for cash receipt journal entries, including corporate and intercompany cash receipts.
  • Participate in review meetings with the international finance team and support the VP Finance - International as needed.
  • Support departments, divisions, and other departmental information requests.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
