About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically adept individual to fill the role of Process Engineer focusing on Material Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective operational strategies for engineering, manufacturing, and Bill of Material (BOM) generation, aimed at enhancing productivity and precision in Order Processing.
Key Responsibilities
The Process Engineer will:
- Enhance NETZSCH's Material Management Systems and devise efficient methods for creating Bills of Materials for a variety of positive displacement products.
- Become a subject matter expert on NETZSCH's product offerings and collaborate with Sales and Order Processing teams to optimize BOM construction for improved lead times and cost efficiency.
- Migrate Material Master data within the ERP System (SAP), including Material Master, characteristics, class, configuration profile, and Bill of Materials.
- Analyze and refine BOM configurator capabilities to accommodate a broader range of configuration options.
- Act as a technical consultant regarding the NETZSCH product line.
- Maintain material data integrity and resolve Material Master issues.
- Evaluate and approve vendor quotes for new materials.
- Address all issues related to pump assembly and BOM.
- Support Sales and Order Processing with inquiries related to material specifications.
- Facilitate collaboration with international data management teams at NETZSCH's sister companies to ensure data structure alignment.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, along with relevant experience or coursework in production planning or manufacturing.
Additional Skills
Successful applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of working collaboratively across various functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Data Management, with the capability to maintain process and BOM structures within an ERP system.
- Experience with SAP or VBA is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a current passport upon hire.
