Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Nuclear Medicine to join our team at Forhyre. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in Sonora, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor patients during nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nuclear medicine technologists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document all procedures accurately, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures, potential risks, and aftercare instructions.
  • Maintain and operate nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligibility for CA licensure.
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NMTCB (RT(NM)) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience with PET imaging is crucial for this role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine nursing preferred.
