Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Adventist Health in West Los Angeles, California.

Estimated Annual Salary: $65,000 - $85,000.

About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases. You will work with radioisotope equipment and perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and administering radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies
  • Measuring doses to be administered by radiologists
  • Performing blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques
  • Documenting all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent (preferred)
  • State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI)
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (required in CA and OR)
  • Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI)
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification (required)
