About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Adventist Health in Los Angeles, California.

Job Summary

This per diem position offers flexibility and autonomy in administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
Requirements
  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine from the state of practice: Preferred
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT): Required
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI

The estimated salary for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, based on a 20-hour workweek and 52 weeks of work per year.
