Job Summary
The Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our robotic-assisted surgery systems. As a key member of our Product Engineering team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, improve, and optimize our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive design, production, and service improvements for our IonTM endoluminal system
• Investigate and resolve complex problems related to electro-mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and system performance
• Develop, design, test, document, and implement solutions to improve performance and reliability
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to colleagues to advance their expertise

Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and manufacturing electromechanical products or relevant graduate education
• Strong technical expertise in mechanism design, with a focus on robotics and medical products
• Proficiency in mechanical analysis, failure analysis, and design documentation
• Experience with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, and release designs following good documentation methods
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects, prioritize activities, and ensure high-quality delivery

Preferred Qualifications
• Proven ability to run teams, manage stakeholders, and mentor other engineers
• Experience in a regulated environment, with knowledge of design verification/validation test protocols and risk assessment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels and organizations
