About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Specialist to join our team at Freepoint Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with production requirements and established guest service and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and established guest service and sustainability standards.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, and control food waste, loss and usage per Freepoint Hotel standards.
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to Freepoint Hotel's EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of related experience.
