Position Overview

The Maintenance Support Technician plays a crucial role in assisting the Maintenance Director with various essential tasks. The responsibilities include:

· Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding Life Safety Code.

· Reviewing departmental policies, procedure manuals, and job descriptions.

· Performing maintenance tasks to uphold the facility's standards.

· Executing any additional tasks assigned by the Maintenance Director or other supervisory personnel.

· Upholding the confidentiality of protected health information across all communication forms.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or related field.

· Prior experience in a maintenance leadership role within long-term care settings is preferred.

· Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical work.
