At Catch Steak, we are seeking a skilled and charismatic Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for their dining experience and ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet all guests, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Know and communicate restaurant and company information, including hours of operation, directions, and awareness of the neighborhood and sister properties.
  • Recognize regular and VIP guests, and provide personalized service to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Use personality and hospitality skills to provide a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Dress professionally in clean and presentable attire, and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Check guests in, walk them to tables, and engage in conversation while doing so.
  • Pull out chairs and present menus individually.
  • Listen to guests' complaints and work to diffuse any unhappy guest situations, utilizing management as needed.
  • Master the operations of the Open Table system.
  • Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned.
  • Interact with fellow employees and guests in a cheerful, professional manner.
  • Communicate with the Maître'D any open tables, long waits, or guest issues.
  • Courteously handle and apologize for any tables waiting past their reservation time.
  • Welcome all guests with the same hospitality you would extend to guests in your home.
  • Responsible for wishing all guests a warm farewell.
  • Adhere to all Covid health and safety protocols.
  • Pay Rate: $19 - $22 per hour
