Plant Engineering Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will establish standards and policies for operating procedures and inspection of maintenance equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine facility maintenance duties, including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC and air exchange systems, facility structural maintenance, compressed air systems, and water farm systems.
- Develop monitoring systems to evaluate the health of facility maintenance.
- Coordinate all preventative maintenance systems through in-plant labor and outside services.
- Manage technicians assigned to accomplish engineering department tasks.
- Perform technician tasks as needed to ensure ongoing positive operation of the facility, including maintaining product water and mineral injection systems, filtration, CIP tasks, ozone, filler sanitation, batching support, and other related tasks.
- Assist with plant project work, including implementing corporate projects, assisting with data collection initiatives, and executing plant task assignments in areas that require evaluation and corrective action.
- Drive cost-savings projects and other projects assigned to accomplish company strategies.
- Contribute to ensuring overall plant safety by being an active advocate for team member safety, driving continuous improvement of safety behaviors, environment, and culture.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
- 6 years of experience in a position of similar responsibility.
- 6 years of experience managing people and projects.
- 10+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
