Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our financial operations on a Contract to Hire basis. This role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm, with the first three months spent onsite and then two days in office hybrid.

The ideal candidate will drive our financial operations forward, ensuring that vendors are paid promptly and our general ledger is coded accurately.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promptly pay vendors while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Coding accounts payable in the general ledger requires precision, leaving no room for errors.
  • Process purchase order invoices with meticulous attention to detail, matching prices and quantities to the original purchase order.
  • Resolve any discrepancies by communicating effectively with vendors.
  • Prepare and review checks and wire transfers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit AP processing at field units to guarantee adherence to best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably).
  • At least three years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferably).
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $72,000 - $84,000, based on a 40-hour workweek.
