Job Summary:

Volt is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Berlin, NJ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of plant systems, including during emergencies.
  • Read and follow blueprints and complete work orders to maintain accurate records.
  • Operate and maintain plant systems to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Complete necessary training to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.
  • Proficient in reading safety rules, operating instructions, and drawings.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
  • Experience with machine safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Ability to operate lift trucks and obtain a license.
