Job Summary
Volt is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Berlin, NJ.
About the Role
As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing mechanical preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment. You will also read and follow blueprints, complete work orders, and maintain records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making repairs as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment performance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience as an industrial mechanic
- Proficient in reading safety rules, operating instructions, and drawings
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with machine safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to operate lift trucks and obtain a license
