Join Oakland Venue Management, Inc. as an Urban Place Manager and play a key role in overseeing the execution of our urban place management service programs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities, scheduling and coordinating staff, and providing on-site supervision and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct assigned staff to ensure consistent direction and awareness of areas in need of special attention.
  • Schedule and coordinate staff through our time and labor system.
  • Provide on-site supervision, performance reviews, and recommended corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage and complete special projects as outlined by the Program Director and client.
  • Provide valuable feedback to leadership regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of programs.
Program Operations:
  • Implement a custom deployment plan to maximize visibility and effectiveness of resources.
  • Evaluate daily needs and make adjustments to daily deployment to meet program needs.
  • Oversee and maintain schedules for staff, routes, equipment stocking, and stats for reporting and billing purposes.
Employee Management:
  • Provide strong leadership and training for staff to maximize their potential and maintain a cohesive team.
  • Monitor and review timecards to support payroll.
  • Work with the Program Director to provide recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary actions to employees when needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Valid CA Driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Experience driving large vehicles in an urban environment.
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task without direct supervision.
  • Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to maintain flexible hours to support program operations.
Benefits:
  • Salary range: $66,560 - $70,720 annual salary commensurate with work experience and program contract.
  • Annual bonus eligibility.
