Job ResponsibilitiesThe Physician Assistant will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our pediatric patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Diagnosing health issues and planning appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Ordering and interpreting necessary laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Performing routine medical procedures such as injections, wound care, and blood draws.
- Providing patient education regarding treatment plans and medications.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Oklahoma.
- Active BLS certification.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Experience in specific departments may be preferred:
- Neurosurgical Department: 1 year of surgical experience.
- Emergency Department: 1 year of experience in a comprehensive emergency setting.
- Acute Care: Current ACLS and PALS certifications if applicable.
This position involves working night shifts, contributing to a collaborative team dedicated to providing high-quality care to pediatric patients. The Physician Assistant will report directly to the supervising physician and collaborate closely with the healthcare team.
