Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at McBride Orthopedic Hospital Physicians. The successful candidate will provide primary healthcare services to patients in a physician practice setting and hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary healthcare services to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
  • Prescribe medications and order medical treatments as authorized by state law.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the American Associations Council on Medical Education.
  • Registered with the DEA and OSBNDD.
  • Basic Life Support Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Orthopedics in a healthcare hospital setting.

This is a safety-sensitive position. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
