Job Title: Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at MDMS Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managed file transfer, batch job scheduling, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and automate tasks to create a robust and scalable file transfer infrastructure.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data files to intended recipients.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive batch job scheduling system.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate file transfer and batch job scheduling processes with existing systems and applications.
  • Implement and enforce best practices to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Tibco MFT, Unix, and Windows enterprise environments.
  • Proven hands-on experience in managed file transfer protocols and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in file transfer protocols, E2E development/testing of MFT flows, and industry standards for secure file transmission.
  • Strong understanding of batch job scheduling concepts, tools, and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with PGP and SFTP/SSH encryption algorithms, data security, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with mainframe file transmissions.
  • Experience working in financial industries.
