Position Overview:
This initiative supports the simulation and training goals of the US Army.
This role involves working with a Management Information System (MIS), a comprehensive IT logistical tool that connects various systems and manages a vast user base through a centralized portal.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The focus will be on the architecture and design of systems. This role requires a multidisciplinary approach, encompassing circuitry design, wiring, mechanical engineering, and embedded software. Systems Engineering integrates these components and allocates features to design teams for seamless integration.
Understanding the connections between systems and resources is crucial, as is managing the flow of data. The role involves gathering requirements based on customer needs and overseeing how systems communicate and how end users interact with them.

Requirements:
1. Extensive experience with IBM DOORS (primary), Next Generation, and Rational Quality Manager
2. Strong domain knowledge and customer interface/design experience
3. Ability to obtain an active security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, particularly in Agile or DevOps environments.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering methods, tools, and languages.
Experience with databases, data integration, or data analysis.
Background in configuration management of DoD systems.
Experience collaborating with government clients, including the US Army, US Navy, USMC, and/or USAF.
Knowledge of the DoD development process.
