Job Summary

The FreightTAS company is a global freight forwarder with a history of expansion and success. We are seeking an Import/Export Operations Specialist to handle air and ocean import/export files, prepare quotes, and provide customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day shipments, including pre-alerting agents and shippers, organizing documentation, and following up with steamship lines.
  • Maintain daily reports for pending shipments and ensure all required documents are received.
  • File AES and other required documentation for export shipments, arrange pick-ups and deliveries as needed.
  • Maintain customer service updates, set up billing and payables, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in international freight forwarding logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding software, such as Cargowise, and Microsoft Office applications.
