Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of food service stations for various events, ensuring a safe and efficient operation. You will assist guests to guarantee that all food items are served correctly and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review event orders and execute setups accordingly.
  • Arrange tables in designated areas with precision and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Be available for flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Utilize appropriate equipment for clearing and transporting items.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service stations.
  • Welcome and serve guests in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure kitchen and storage areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding any needs or concerns.
  • Complete all setup and closing tasks as required.
  • Monitor food service stations throughout events, ensuring timely availability of items.
  • Assist guests as needed and respond to inquiries using effective communication techniques.
  • Restore service areas to their original state post-event.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of service equipment.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of one to two years in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with customer service principles and food service operations.
  • Ability to handle customer service challenges with tact and understanding.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include:

  • Ability to lift and carry various items as needed.
  • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and serving items.
  • Capacity to bend, kneel, and maneuver in tight spaces.
  • Continuous standing and mobility throughout the shift.

Work Environment:
This role involves a physically demanding environment, requiring prolonged standing and movement in a predominantly indoor setting.
