Job Summary

Financial Partners Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Consumer and Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a key member of our lending department, you will be responsible for originating, managing, and closing consumer and mortgage loans. This is a mid-level position that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and manage consumer and mortgage loans from application to closing
  • Underwrite loans based on established guidelines and make recommendations to management for exceptions
  • Communicate with members and branch managers to ensure timely and accurate loan processing
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all internal, local, state, and federal regulations
  • Participate in credit union training programs and other functions as requested
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • Basic math skills and data entry knowledge
  • Experience in consumer and mortgage lending/underwriting and knowledge of consumer loan products
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite and loan underwriting software
  • NMLS license preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outgoing and approachable personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
